‘No Thanks Stellantis’ Residents decide to call the State

In a recent meeting, Beniteau residents discussed the highly contested Stellantis complaint hotline and how they would advise neighbors and other impact area residents to engage.

  • Residents thought it was disingenuous of EGLE, who are the state regulators, to promote the hotline of a company that continues to receive violation orders.
  • After getting sick from fumes for weeks many residents do not trust Stellantis.
  • Stellantis representatives have been dismissive and disrespectful to some of the residents and based on this they do not believe they will share the complaints with EGLE.

All of these concerns are valid and it is EGLEs responsibility to process, track and follow up on complaints.

Now Chrysler Jeep Stellantis has had the audacity to set up their own HOTLINE to intercept resident complaints to the state’s hotline.

Resident complaints to the state have prompted numerous air quality violations from the Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE).

Nice try Chrysler Jeep Stellantis, no thanks!
